The BabbEye is a counseling ministry extension of FBC Hendersonville. The counseling ministry building began in 1995 with the addition of the kickoff member to the church building staff to provide counseling services to the community.
As the need for counseling connected to grow, an office edifice adjacent to the church was acquired that provided the opportunity to expand the counseling services offered. In May of 2002, the newly named BabbCenter was opened. The counseling ministry was renamed the BabbCenter afterwards Roy and Marguerite Babb who had committed their lives to service to others. Jason Gibson, MSW
Managing director
Jason Gibson is the director of theBabbEye and provides guidance to this leading counseling middle that operates from a faith-based perspective. Prior to assuming leadership at theBabbCentre, Jason was a learning and behavioral consultant working with schools and treatment facilities across the United states supporting children and adolescents with social, emotional, or behavioral issues. Jason grew up in Titusville, FL, and prior to moving to Hendersonville, made central Kentucky his habitation for 8 years. He has been married to Julie for a number of years and they take iv children.
Ray Cleek, DMin
Assistant Director and Administrator
Ray was invited to join the staff of Offset Baptist Church, Hendersonville, Tennessee in January, 2002 to begin the preparation for the opening of the BabbEye in May, 2002. Prior to his work at the BabbMiddle, Ray was pastor of churches in Indiana, Virginia, and Tennessee—the last being the Showtime Baptist Church building of Lebanon, Tennessee for fourteen years.
Presently before beginning work at Showtime Baptist Hendersonville he served on the authoritative staff at Tennessee Christian Medical Eye in Madison, Tennessee, analogous services for community ministers, ministering to staff and patients, besides every bit developing and promoting the behavioral programs of the hospital.
With his unique combination of pastoral and mental wellness experience, the BabbCenter has been a peachy place to utilize his gifts for helping people receive hope, help, and healing. Through the years Ray has served on various boards of agencies and institutions, including the board of trustees for Belmont University and Baptist Infirmary (at present St. Thomas Midtown) in Nashville, Tennessee. More than recently, he serves on the Mental Health Advisory Commission of the Executive Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention and the Religion and Justice Brotherhood Committee for the state of Tennessee.
In addition to his responsibilities at the BabbCenter, Ray is too the Minister of Pastoral Intendance for First Baptist Church Hendersonville. Ray graduated from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky with a master of divinity degree, master of arts in Christian teaching, and a doctor of ministry building degree. He and his wife, Gail, have ii sons and iv grandchildren.
Corey Watson
Part Manager
Corey was born and raised out west in sunny California. She has 18 years of function experience, with x of those years being function manager for a brokerage firm.

Kay Arnold, LPC, MHSP
Licensed Professional person Counselor
Kay Arnold, a Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Service Provider, received a graduate counseling degree from Trevecca Nazarene University. Her counseling opportunity with The BABBCenter began in 1997.

Kay lives on a subcontract in Portland with her married man, Chip who is a author and actor. Scrap and Kay are co-authoring a book,Strange Bedfellows, A Matrimony of Irreconcilable Differences.They take two married daughters and ii wonderful sons-in-police.
Beth Baxter, Md
Psychiatrist
Dr. Beth Baxter is a board-certified psychiatrist in private practise in Nashville, Tennessee equally well as the BabbCenter in Hendersonville, Tennessee. She received her graduate medical training at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.

Joan Bruce, LMFT

Joan spent most of her childhood in Atlanta, Georgia but has called Nashville home for over 30 years. She is married and has raised two daughters.

After college, Jason spent a few years teaching loftier schoolhouse math and coaching football. Since 2006, Jason has worked in leadership for not-profit organizations at the local, state, and national levels.
Jason's passion for fiscal coaching began several years agone. As budgeting became a strength for Jason, he started helping others with their finances. Jason saw a demand for someone to walk with people through this process instead of but meeting with them once or twice. In 2018, he started three Strands Financial Coaching and then that he could assist more people find hope and peace as they learn to manage finances on their own.
Jason's calling is straightforward. He helps people simplify their finances. She began her career as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the U.s. Air Strength. Stationed in Alaska, Bethany was assigned to Joint Base of operations Elmendorf-Richardson Infirmary where she treated both Air Force and Army service members and their dependents.
Bethany met her husband in Commissioned Officer Preparation and and so served with him in Alaska. They moved back to Tennessee after completing their armed forces service to raise their children well-nigh extended family unit.

Daniel also specializes in working with all members of the family during the phases of the adoption and foster care procedure, from initial preparations to post-adoptive care. He has all-encompassing experience working with mental health issues such as ADHD, depression, feet, bipolar, and other psychotic disorders.
Daniel's other interests include working with computers and technology and educational activity others to understand and use them more than finer. Daniel has trained many families in the responsible employ of technology.

Dixie Walker has been the content writer for the BabbCenter since 2016. She holds a Principal of Arts degree in religious education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Her undergraduate studies were at Oklahoma Baptist University.
Over the years, Dixie has served on church staff teams in Tennessee, Georgia, Texas, and Arizona with an emphasis in childhood and family ministries. She has worked as an editor and writer for several Christian publishers since 1997. Dixie has been a featured commodity writer for LifeWay'due south ParentLife magazine since 2013. In more contempo years, she has authored a few devotion books for B&H Kids and has also written Bible study curriculum for LifeWay Kids.
